Your journey begins in Delhi, India’s sprawling, historic capital. Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), settle into your hotel and prepare for an afternoon of exploration. Delhi perfectly bridges two distinct worlds: Old Delhi and New Delhi.

Day 3: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Upon arriving in Udaipur, check into your lakeside heritage hotel. The vibe here is noticeably calmer. In the late afternoon, head to the banks of Lake Pichola. Enjoy a private or shared sunset boat ride, cruising past the stunning Taj Lake Palace (floating in the center of the lake) and stopping at Jag Mandir island. The reflections of the city's golden palaces on the water will quickly show you why this is considered India's most romantic city.

Day 6: Discovering Udaipur – The Venice of the East

Dedicate your morning to the sprawling City Palace Udaipur, an architectural marvel towering over Lake Pichola. It is a fascinating maze of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, and hanging gardens. The museums inside boast incredible collections of miniature paintings, royal weaponry, and crystal.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolutely Incredible Day in Agra! Our experience with India Bon Voyage was truly unforgettable, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Our day began with Jitendra picking us up from our hotel before sunrise so we could experience the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Seeing the Taj Mahal in that beautiful morning light was absolutely breathtaking. Afterward, he took us back to our hotel so we could relax and enjoy breakfast before picking us up again to continue our day. Jitendra was an incredible guide. He was knowledgeable, professional, personable, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. He answered every question we had and shared fascinating facts and stories that made the Taj Mahal come alive. He even pointed out some of the Taj Mahal’s amazing optical illusions and architectural details that we would have completely missed on our own. From there, we visited Agra Fort, the Baby Taj, and several really interesting local shops. One thing that really stood out to me was how attentive Jitendra was without ever being intrusive. When we wanted to wander around on our own, he stayed nearby in case we needed anything. That gave us the freedom to explore while still knowing we had someone looking out for us. Lunch at the beautiful five-star hotel was also fantastic and was such a wonderful addition to the day. But the perfect ending was still to come. At dusk, Jitendra took us to a beautiful viewing spot where we could watch the Taj Mahal as the changing light seemed to transform its color. It was absolutely magical and something I will never forget. Jitendra didn’t just show us the Taj Mahal—he helped us experience it.
