What should I wear when visiting monuments in Agra?

There is no strict dress code for the Taj Mahal or Agra Fort, but modest clothing covering shoulders and knees is recommended out of cultural respect. Comfortable walking shoes and slip-on footwear are best, as shoes must be removed or covered with shoe sleeves when stepping onto the main marble terrace.

Our Varanasi, Agra and especially the Taj Mahal tour was an unforgettable experience! The monument was absolutely breathtaking, and our guide, Jitu made the visit even more meaningful by sharing its fascinating history, architecture, and history. Outstanding experience in both Varanasi and Agra!
We had an unforgettable journey through Varanasi and Agra thanks to our guide. At the Taj Mahal, their deep knowledge of Mughal architecture and history brought the monument to life, and they expertly guided us away from the heavy crowds to get the best views and photos. In Varanasi, they navigated the bustling alleys and ghats seamlessly, explaining the spiritual significance of the Ganga Aarti and morning boat ride with great care and respect.
