You will visit Old Delhi and the Red Fort. The red sandstone structure was built for the residence of the Mughal Empire for 200years. Shah Jahan shifted his capital to Delhi from Agra and constructed the Red Fort in 1648. The magnificent wall of the Red Fort houses numerous palaces and halls within. Nowadays days this magnificent building is used by the Prime Minister as a platform to address the people of the Republic on the eve of Independence Day.

Red sandstone building, Jama Masjid, Jama Masjid is a mosque for Muslims and nowadays is also used by local muslims. This was built by Shah Jahan in the year 1650. The Mosque was completed in 6 years with the help of 6000 workers. After visiting the red sandstone Mosque place, we will take a round trip of Chandni Chowk by local Rickshaw, which is operated by leg (Rickshaw Ride).

After Jama Masjid, your next destination is Qutub Minar, one of the tallest buildings in our country. It is also a World Heritage site. This tower height 73meters high and is made with red sandstone and marble. The tower is the finest example of Indo-Islamic architecture. This tower has a total of 365 steps to reach the top of the tower. The Qutub complex houses the Iron Pillar, which is of great metallurgical interest.  Many people believe that if one stands in front of a pillar with their back towards the column and encircles it with their arms, all their wishes will come true.

Your next monument visit is Humayun’s Tomb, which was the first large garden–tomb of the Indian subcontinent. Humayun’s tomb was built by his widow, Biga Begum(Hajji Begum) in 1569-70, 14 years after his death, for 105 million rupees at that time. Your next destination is Raj Ghat, which is a memorial dedicated to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, located on the bank of the Yamuna River in Old Delhi.

Raj Ghat is the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi and is peaceful. A day after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, his last rites were performed at Raj Ghat on 31st January 1948. The memorial was designed by Vanu G. Bhuta, who has won several awards for its architectural design.

Lotus Temple is a notable architectural marvel famous for its unique lotus structures. The temple has won several awards and recognitions for its style of building, the concept of religion, and beauty. This is a modern style non-religious oriented temple.

Your destination, India Gate, formerly known as the All India was Memorial, is situated on the ceremonial axis of Rashtrapati Bhawan. This memorial was built to commemorate the deaths of a thousand soldiers who died during World War 1 and the Afghan War. The names of British and Indian soldiers can be found on the walls of the India Gate. Under the arch lies the blank stone and immortal flame that burns throughout the day and night.

Then we drive through the residential estate of the President of India, Rashtrapati Bhawan. The entire estate covers an area of 134 hectares and comprises 340 rooms, including the official residence located at the bank of Rashtrapati Bhawan adds to the charm of the mansion.

You will finally return to your hotel, where your chauffeur will drop you off after the tour.
