Same Day Taj Mahal Tour by Gatimaan Express Train

07:00 A.M. – Pick-up from the hotel

India Bon Voyage representative will pick you from your Hotel/Airport then he will be taken to Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station for the Gatiman Train which is go to Agra City (Taj Mahal). The train will leave Delhi at 8:10 A.M. and reach Agra at 9:50 A.M. Always carry valid ID proof with you when you travel. It could be your DL, Indian Aadhaar card, or Passport.

You will be fed with the best cuisine on board. It takes almost 90 minutes to reach Agra. Upon arrival at the Agra Cantt station, you will be meet by a Agra local tour guide who will take you on a sightseeing tour of the city of Agra.

10:30 A.M. – Visit Taj Mahal

You will initiate your tour of Agra by visiting the beautiful monument, Taj Mahal. This magnificent monument is located on the banks of the river Yamuna. It was built by Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal ruler, in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. She unfortunately died while giving child birth to her daughter
The beauty and magnificent architecture of the Taj Mahal make it one of the Seven Wonders of the World.  The government-approved tour guide not only explains the history behind the monument but also makes your visit very interesting. You will not be allowed to visit the Taj Mahal on Friday, so plan your trip accordingly.

01.30 P.M. -Lunch Time

Now you will take a short break for relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Agra has many good places to eat and drink but our tour guide will recommend you to Agra Top rating Restaurant. Eat-in good and clean place to keep your stomach problem away from you so you can enjoy it to the fullest.

02:30 P.M. – Visit Agra Fort

Once you have completed Agra delicious meal then you can start to  Agra Fort. This huge fort offers a panoramic view of the entire city. The enchantingly architecture of the Agra Fort will amaze you. There is a museum inside the fort which contains many artifacts related to the ancient Mughal period but its was closed by govt.. Agra Fort was the residence of the Mughal rulers for a long time. and Agra city was the Mughal Capital Later, when the capital shifted to Delhi, the Mughals was left the Agra Fort. 

04.00 P.M. -Art & Craft shopping 

Handicrafts item which is made of marble with inlay art, Mughal style gems stone jewellery, Hand made carpets (silk or pashmina), India dress like a sari , scarf pashmina and silks, leather goods.

05:00 P.M-Leave back for the railway station

Now you will be back to Agra Railway Station by same taxi. The train will leave at 5.50 P.M from Agra train station, and you will arrive in the Delhi at 7:30 P.M. It takes almost 90 minutes to reach Delhi via Gatimaan Express. Meals will be served on board before reach Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, the tour driver will pick you up from the railway station and drop you off at a selected hotel/location in Delhi. Your journey to Agra ends on the same day by Gatiman Express.
