After Jama Masjid, your next destination is Qutub Minar, one of the tallest buildings in our country. It is also a World Heritage site. This tower height 73meters high and is made with red sandstone and marble. The tower is the finest example of Indo-Islamic architecture. This tower has a total of 365 steps to reach the top of the tower. The Qutub complex houses the Iron Pillar, which is of great metallurgical interest. Many people believe that if one stands in front of a pillar with their back towards the column and encircles it with their arms, all their wishes will come true.

This memorial was built to commemorate the deaths of a thousand soldiers who died during World War 1 and the Afghan War. The names of British and Indian soldiers can be found on the walls of the India Gate. Under the arch lies the blank stone and immortal flame that burns throughout the day and night.
