The palace was developed as a pleasant spot in the middle of the Maan Sagar Lake.

Jaigarh Fort – Jaigarh Fort is a majestic citadel built by Sawan Jai Singh. This nearly intact fort is surrounded by huge battlements and is connected to the Amer Fort (also known as ‘Amber Fort’) a suburban route. Originally built to protect the Amer Fort and the palace within the complex, the world’s largest cannon on wheels in the Fort Jaigrh Fort is a grand structure built in the early 18th century. Whenever Maan Sigh I or his successors warred and won gold, silver, jewels, and booty they hoarded it in the Jaigarh fort.
Albert Hall Museum – The Albert Hall Museum is one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions. The Albert Hall Museum building was built in 1876 as a concert hall. Due to the similar architecture, the museum gets its name from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The foundation of the building began in 1876 when the Prince of Wales visited Jaipur.
